Results are almost here

About two weeks ago I sent a roast to Maxxam food labs in Mississauga to get a fatty acid profile done. I’m curious to see how my critters compare to other grass fed cattle. I’m also interested to seeing how significant the difference is between my grass fed beef and “Ontario corn fed” beef. If I can’t find a credible source for corn fed beef fatty acid data, I might have to buy a roast at the grocery store and have it tested too. Results are expected at the end of the day on Friday and I’ll try to post them as soon as I can afterwards.
